The qualification for core competency is delivered in two parts over a four day period with an average day’s tuition being 7.5hrs and is on the following subject matter:
Part 1
This three-day course is designed to assist companies in the provision of basic job training and to develop a uniform standard across the industry. The course content complies with the recommended training syllabus in the British Standard for BS7499:2002 - Static site guarding and mobile patrol services. It will also provide some of the underpinning knowledge required to achieve the S/NVQ Level 2 and is recognised by the Security Industry Authority. The course is run by SITO qualified and recognised trainers of BWC Ltd, and supported with training support material for candidates. The course covers the following modules:
