Business Watch Guarding Ltd have embarked on a Centre of Excellence programme with Telford’s TCAT Telford College of Arts and Technologies Directorate of Commercial Development and Training. The College recently awarded the Queens Anniversary Prize for Higher & Further Education will be supplying an educational programme designed to offer employees of Business Watch Guarding Ltd the opportunity to advance their Security Level skills and qualifications. These range from C&G NVQ Level 2 Providing Security Services, CCTV Public Space Surveillance BTEC Level 2 through to Level 3 Supervisory Management. The company is pleased to announce that over 70% of its workforce has enrolled for the 2008/09 term including all its front line managers and Directors.

Peninsula Gold Award Certificate of Achievement

Business Watch Guarding Ltd have been short listed to receive a Certificate of Achievement for commitment to good personnel practices from Peninsula Business Services Ltd the country’s largest Personnel and Health And Safety Advisory Services Company. BWG Ltd has been nominated for this award following feed back from Peninsula Consultants regarding the high standard of personnel management demonstrated by the company and outstanding commitment in developing employment law and personnel systems to the benefit of their customers and staff.
Latest 27th July 2008. It has been announced that the Company has been selected to receive the Peninsula Gold Award Certificate of Achievement for Commitment to a High Standard of Personnel Practice and will be presented with the award within the next few weeks. The award will recognise, quote " The outstanding efforts and commitment of your organisation to achieving a successful and proactive personnel management culture in your workplace".

ACS Champions of the Year Finalists

Business Watch Guarding Ltd has been shortlisted as one of six companies in the UK confirmed to receive the ACS Champions of the year award category at the forthcoming Security Excellence Awards being staged on October 9th 2008 at the Hilton Hotel Park Lane London.
The SIA Approved Contractor Scheme aims to raise standards and promote good practice for the creation of a safer environment for the public and better opportunities for the private security industry. This award is open to all Approved Contractors and seeks to identify those that have taken exceptional steps to further the spirit of the scheme given the available resource.
The judges will be looking for:
Active promotion of the ACS and its benefits with customers and other stakeholders
Consistent contribution to furthering the aims of the ACS
Evidence of creation of a safer environment for the public
Participation in new opportunities for the private security industry

Business Watch Guarding Ltd Appointed on Main Board of Directors of Transforming Telford.

The Company is pleased to announce that Co-Director, Paul Hinkins who has been on the Board of Director's for Telford Economic Development Partnership (TEDP) for the last two years has from the 5 June 2008 been appointed to the Main Board of Directors for Transforming Telford. Paul’s three year term in this office was approved by the founding members, Borough of Telford & Wrekin, English Partnership and Advantage West Midlands. NSI Gold Certification Presentation

Following the company’s recent accreditation to Gold Standards for Uniformed Mobile and Static Guarding, Keyholding and Alarm Response via the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) the company was formally presented with its Gold Award certification.
